Old Mill House Bed & Breakfast
Old Mill House takes its name from the flour mill and milling business that were the origins of our buildings. Although long since disused and even with the sails removed, our Grade II Listed mill tower still dominates the property.
In 2006 we renovated some of our former mill associated buildings to form guest accommodation. In doing so we opted for quality rather than quantity and created just two guest suites. Each suite comprises a lounge, a double bedroom and an en suite shower room.
Both suites have a bright, comfortable, well furnished lounge, including freeview television with video/DVD. The bedrooms are fitted with a king-size double bed and furnished in pine, including a dressing table and wardrobe. The en suites are fully tiled shower rooms, configured as wet rooms to offer a maximum of space. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities are available in each suite. We have named our suites after the Lincolnshire working mills at 'Sibsey' and 'Alford'.
Our guest accommodation is ground floor, with direct access from the private parking area to the front of the building. Where possible the suites have been fashioned with consideration to easy access. Each suite has its own front and rear entrance. To the rear of both suites is a small patio with garden furniture and access to the garden.
In addition to breakfast, we are also able to offer an evening meal, if required.
Lincolnshire offers a diversity of locations and activity for the visitor, from historical cities and market towns, to fishing and aviation heritage. However, it is probably our coastline that offers the greatest attraction. Old Mill House is 3 miles from the sand dune beaches that stretch from Mablethorpe to Skegness. These are home to both nature reserves and holiday seaside attractions.
